Massive ductile iron pintle and formed steel strap has been used on doors over 40,000 lbs. (with 5 Atlas Hinges). Can be used with extreme pressure or “Blast” situation. 1 ¼ “-2” Diameter, high strength bolt with ball bearings and welded gusset to strap assure maximum weight carrying capacity and easy opening by anyone.
Patented 6 way adjustment features are especially useful for massive doors. Hinge strap and pintle (as option) can be welded in place – then adjustments can still be made in any direction. (see pages 1 & 2 in structural analyses section). Finish U.S. Prime. Weight (standard) 83 lbs each (minimum suggested).
